Coming from a large Irish and German family, it became necessary to write down who was related to whom and how. Writing the information down, a tree began to take shape. Then questions started to come to mind and answers were needed.
In order to answer those questions we went in search of documents held in archives, libraries, courthouses, and historical societies.
