Best Resources for Starting Your Genealogical Journey

There are a lot of resources for beginning your genealogical journey that you already have access. These include:

– Family Bibles, with the family tree written in the first or last page

– Interview Grandparents to see what names they remember from their childhoods

– Local Churches – Marriage, Baptism Records

– Family Memorabilia – do you have old hand-written recipes? How about pictures with names and dates on the back? Anything you have could be a clue.

If you do have written or visual records, you can upload them on your secure page for our genealogists to see, once you have created an account.
